A cyber protocol is an agreement entered into by the parties notably before a virtual hearing. It should include in particular:

  • a reliable internet connection tested in advance;
  • specific measures to test witness credibility;
  • appropriate document management methods;
  • how technical difficulties will be handled during hearing; and
    specific measures regarding confidentiality.
