“Ten years ago the global financial crisis kicked off the boom in litigation boutique practices — London law firms eager to sue banks, other financial institutions and corporate giants…
…Graham Huntley, founder partner of Signature Litigation, agrees on one point: “There is absolutely room for the quality and properly run specialist firms not only to continue but thrive. But there are still one or two large US firms on the hunt to absorb boutiques.”
He concludes: “Obviously, both full-service firms and niche firms will have to do what they do well to survive and thrive in the competitive environments in which they operate. There is no easy ride for anyone.””
