Partner Hermès Marangos this week spoke at the English Law Week in Mexico 2020 conference series in relation to international dispute resolution.
Hermès participated in the dispute resolution webinar, held virtually on 2 December. The speakers discussed developments in international dispute resolution in the Mexican and UK context.
In particular Hermès spoke about important developments in international dispute resolution, such as points of law of arbitration agreements in the recent Enka v Chubb decision, as well as the recent ruling in Municipio de Mariana & Others v BHP Group PLC. Hermès recently published an article on the international role of the English courts coming into focus following this judgment, here.
