Biography

Henry is a barrister specialising in high-value commercial litigation with a particular focus on financial services.

Prior to entering the law, Henry worked in the public affairs industry advising clients on government policy and liaising with parliamentary officials, government departments and media entities on their behalf.

Between 2014 and 2016, Henry worked in the financial services practices of the US firms Katten Muchin Rosenmann LLP and Arnold & Porter (UK) LLP, focussing on the provision regulatory advice, representing individuals in global regulatory and criminal investigations and acting in claims concerning the purported mis-selling of financial products and manipulation of certain benchmark rates.

Since joining Signature in November 2016 Henry has continued to work on financial services related matters and other high value claims in the Commercial Court. He qualified as a barrister, having undertaken a sponsored pupillage with Outer Temple Chambers.

Henry has been a member of the Middle Temple Inns of Court since 2013 and is a member of the executive committee of the Financial Services Lawyers Association (FSLA). He is also a member of Chatham House and the Reform Club.

  • Acting for a property management firm in a £50m loss of a chance claim alleging the mis-selling of certain financial products and the breach of various implied representations.

Financial Services

  • Advising FCA and PRA regulated firms and individuals in regard to perimeter issues, market abuse matters, money laundering queries, conduct of business issues, client money issues, prudential queries and commercial and regulatory terms.
  • Acting as an FCA authorised CF10 and CF11 for a US based high frequency proprietary trading firm.
  • Acting for and advising an individual who was the subject of criminal and regulatory market abuse investigations in Switzerland, the United States and United Kingdom.
