Jérémie is a highly experienced litigator, specialising in complex corporate and financial disputes.

Jérémie’s practice focuses on shareholders, governance, and M&A disputes, as well as general commercial and civil litigation.

Having practised in both Paris and London, Jérémie acts for a broad range of French and international companies. He represents his clients in strategic pre-litigations, litigations and arbitrations, as well as mediation proceedings.

Jérémie started his career at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was an Associate in the dispute resolution department for nine years, handling mainly corporate and financial disputes. He then founded a leading French dispute resolution boutique law firm, which he ran for eight years prior to joining Signature Litigation.

Jérémie is ranked as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ for his dispute resolution expertise in the Commercial Litigation category of The Legal 500 EMEA Guide.

He has been recognised in The Legal 500, Best Lawyers, Le Point and Décideurs Magazine rankings. The Legal 500 describes him as a “class act”, “very commercial and client-focused”, and as having “great understanding and analyses, while taking into account the personality of clients.” He is also praised for his “acute and comprehensive understanding of the real issues and challenges faced by [his] clients.”

Jérémie has also lectured for several years at Paris Panthéon-Assas University, where he teaches courses relating to mediation, corporate law and complex dispute resolution clauses. He has authored numerous publications including Corporate Internal Investigations, An International Guide (Oxford University Press), and Swap Contracts and Insolvency Law (Cahiers de droit de l’entreprise). He has often interviewed on various topics, including Mediation, ESG-related disputes, and Private Equity-related issues. He regularly organises events on cutting edge legal topics, including Duty of Vigilance, International Arbitration and Blocking Statutes, Enforcement of Arbitration Awards through Seizure by Garnishment, The Hague Rules on Business and Human Rights Arbitration, and New Developments in Space Law.

Jérémie is a member of the International Law Association (ILA), the association Paris Place de Droit, and other think tanks. He heads the École Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) group of Alumni active in the legal sector.

Jérémie graduated from ESSEC Business School and holds postgraduate degrees in Business and Tax Law from University Paris Panthéon – Assas, and in Private International Law and International Commercial Law from University Paris 1 – La Sorbonne.

Jérémie is fluent in both French and English.

  • Assisting a leading private equity fund against the shareholders of group of companies in the healthcare sector following the alleged wrongful termination of a negotiation process for the sale of their shares.
  • Assisting the minority shareholders of a French listed company in the context of the perpetration of alleged acts of mismanagement and market abuses.
  • Representing two leading private equity funds in a dispute against the manager and majority shareholder of their participation.
  • Representing the founding partner and main shareholder of a leading French technology company in the context of a fraud to its resale rights.
  • Assisting the minority shareholders of a regional healthcare company in a complex shareholder dispute.
  • Assisting a major French healthcare company against the shareholders of a target company following the alleged wrongful termination of a negotiation process.

Financial Disputes

  • Assisting leading financial institutions in the context of investigations and sanction proceedings before the French Markets Regulator.
  • Assisting a major art foundation against a leading financial institution in relation to the wrongful management of its financial assets following the winding up of a fund in Ireland.
  • Representing major French and foreign financial institutions against municipalities in relation to alleged misrepresentation in the sale of swap contracts.

Civil and Commercial Disputes

  • Representing a French regional construction company in relation to a post-acquisition dispute following the discovery of irregularities in the company’s accounts and misrepresentation during the selling process.
  • Representing an oil and gas company in relation to the breach by one of its subcontractors of a contract for the drilling of an oil well.
  • Assisting a leading biomedical laboratory in two claims for damages for wrongful termination of two contracts for the rental and maintenance of diagnostic equipment.
  • Assisting a leading financial institution in relation to a breach of contract by one of its main suppliers of financial services.
  • Assisting a leading investment bank in relation to a breach of contract.

Criminal Disputes

  • Assisting employees of a French construction company in relation to the alleged breach of the rules governing public tender offers.
  • Representing a major healthcare company before criminal courts following the alleged poisoning of employees.


  • Assisting a supplier in the automotive industry following the discovery of numerous performance tests altered by its employees.
  • Assisting a prominent French energy company following the discovery of fraudulent compliance certificates delivered by one of its foreign suppliers for many years.


  • Assisting numerous clients in the healthcare, financial and energy sectors in the resolution of corporate, financial and contractual disputes through mediation.
