Johnny is Head of Knowledge and Legal Services at Signature Litigation. He has gained significant experience in handling a broad spectrum of domestic and international disputes and now advises internally on all aspects of dispute resolution.
Johnny has worked on some of Signature’s highest profile cases including those featured in The Lawyer’s “Top 20 Cases of the Year”. His knowledge encompasses complex contractual and tortious disputes, CIS disputes, professional negligence litigation and contentious insolvency matters. His experience includes disputes at all levels, from County Court to Supreme Court proceedings, as well as international arbitration.
Johnny is regularly asked to participate at panel and round table events discussing key legal and procedural developments as well as delivering talks himself on a number of topical issues.
Johnny was co-editor of the Chambers & Partners UK Litigation Global Practice Guide 2019. He routinely publishes articles, recently co-authoring the feature article on the Disclosure Pilot Scheme for PLC Magazine’s 30th anniversary edition. Johnny has also been featured in other publications such as the FT Adviser, Dow Jones Financial News, Compliance Monitor and many more.
As part of the HMCTS Reform Programme, Johnny advised HMCTS on possible changes to to be made to its scheduling and listing function.
Johnny is a member of the London Solicitors’ Litigation Association (LSLA) and JUSTICE.
Prior to joining Signature Litigation, Johnny practiced at the international law firm Nabarro LLP (now CMS Cameron Mckenna Nabarro Olswang LLP).
