Biography

Mathilde is a Counsel specialising in commercial and regulatory litigation including data protection work, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Mathilde focuses her practice on regulatory disputes, as well as on general commercial and consumer-related litigation and advises on all stages of litigation, from pre-action through trials.

Mathilde is ranked as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ in The Legal 500 EMEA 2023 Guide for her commercial litigation expertise.

She has also developed a specific expertise on commercial law, contract drafting and negotiation and has experience in dealing with a variety of complex legal issues in various industry sectors such as mass retail, automobile, media, e-commerce banking and insurance industries.

She also assists French and international clients on major data protection issues, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters. Her work includes Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) investigations and litigations and more generally all GDPR-related topics.

Prior to joining Signature, Mathilde worked at the Paris offices of two major international law firms for 4.5 years and began started her career in a well-known French law firm, where she worked for almost 3 years.

Mathilde qualified from the Paris Bar in 2012. She is a member of the Association des Professionnels du Contentieux des Affaires (APCA) and of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Mathilde speaks French and English.
