Biography
Mathilde specialises in data protection work, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
She assists French and international clients on major data protection issues, ranging from Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) investigations and litigations to the implementation of GDPR compliance plans, securing international data transfers and setting up data breach response plans.
Mathilde also focuses her practice on regulatory disputes as well as on commercial and consumer-related litigation and contract work and has experience in dealing with a variety of complex legal issues in various industry sectors such as mass retail, automobile, media and e-commerce. She also advises clients on contractual breaches and performance issues.
Prior to joining Signature, Mathilde worked at the Paris offices of two major international law firms for 4.5 years and began started her career in a well-known French law firm, where she worked for almost 3 years.
Mathilde qualified from the Paris Bar in 2012. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Mathilde speaks French and English.
