Signature Litigation has been recognised in The Times Best Law Firms 2024 Guide for its commercial dispute resolution and its financial crime, fraud and regulatory practices.
The Guide notes that the Firm has been involved in several high-profile cases, including representing Privinvest in $2 billion claims brought against it and Credit Suisse by the Republic of Mozambique over supply agreements, sometimes known as the ‘Tuna Bonds’ litigation, representing various defendants in a $2 billion High Court claim concerning Wind Energy Holding in a series of disputes in multiple jurisdictions, and representing Commission Recovery Limited in a ground-breaking claim for recovery of alleged secret commissions earned from commercial referral arrangements. In February, Signature’s client was granted permission to pursue its claim on a representative basis under CPR 19.6, the first such major decision on CPR 19.6 since the Supreme Court’s judgment in Lloyd v Google.
The Guide is a list of the top 250 legal practices in England and Wales and the top 20 across Scotland, as recommended by peers.
