Signature acted for Captain Rashid in his successful claim against the federation of global oil companies (OCIMF) that his accreditation as a ship inspector was unlawfully removed. This was the first time that a ship inspector has challenged its accreditation body and Captain Rashid’s success has triggered a number of similar potential claims.
