Signature Litigation’s Paris office today announces the promotion of Senior Associate Ela Barda to Counsel.
Ela Barda took up her new position on 1 July 2023.
Ela Barda has focused her practice on commercial and international litigation and has developed a specific expertise in enforcement proceedings, with respect to recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitration awards. She has acquired a sharp expertise in the representation of internet platforms and assists several e-commerce and on-line services providers in their litigation before the French Courts. Ela Barda is also recognised as an aviation litigation expert, being ranked as a “recommended lawyer” in the field in Legal 500.
She holds a business law master from Paris Dauphine-PSL University and a master-MBA in business law and management from Paris Panthéon-Assas University. She also has an LL.M from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Ela Barda was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2014 and has been an associate in the Paris litigation team of Hogan Lovells for 4 years, before joining Signature Litigation upon is launch on the Paris market in 2019.
